From November 11th  to the 15th, 2012, Wega will participate in  Equip'Hotel, one of the most important world expos in the HoReCa sector showcasing all the innovations and new trends in equipment and service for restaurants, cafeterias and hoteliers. From October 25th to the 27th Wega will be at the sixth edition of TriestEspresso, the most important event specializing in the field of espresso coffee making. This biennial event is open to international workers in this sector and attracts visitors from all over the world. On this occasion the company will present a special preview of the restyling for the SPHERA, one of the historically most successful models in the Wega line. The many new features include the possibility of equipping this espresso coffee machine with our auto steamer device: a steam wand that simultaneously heats and foams milk. Write these dates on your calendar: SCAE World Coffee is coming to Vienna from June 13th to the 15th, 2012. Wega will also be participating in the event, which is internationally considered one of the most important of its kind. This is the place to be to discover the latest trends in the coffee sector. More than 12.000 visitors are expected to attend from over 50 countries around the world. It’s a uniquely specific showcase for growers, exporters, importers, coffee shops, producers and distributors of coffee making appliances, even for restaurant professionals. In fact, against the background of this event the World Barista Championship will take place, where the best baristas will challenge each other in three different specialties, performing  4 espresso coffees, 4 cappuccinos and 4 coffee- based drinks, all in 15 minutes. From June 8th to the 10th Wega will continue our promotional activities in the United States at the  Chicago “Coffee Fest”, a traveling expo organized every year in Seattle and New York, too. This is the most important American event in the coffee sector, and since 1992 it has hosted exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. Manufacturers, suppliers and  distributors meet to network, discover new market trends and gain privileged access to target customers. During the Coffee Fest there will also be the Latte Art Championships, a special world championship for cappuccino artistes.

Wega will be participating in  “Caffè Culture”, the largest event dedicated to the world of coffee from May 16th to the 17th, when thousands of international professionals and workers from this sector will be flocking to the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London. The event is expected to attract more than 250 exhibitors from five continents and will host an intense schedule of workshops, seminars, direct demonstrations and tastings. This exceptional platform will help the company to consolidate its presence in a market with vast potential. Wega will be one of the stands exhibiting at the annual Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) expo to be held in Portland, Oregon from April 20th to the 22nd, 2012.
For 24 years the SCAA has been one of the main events in the sector, bringing together the coffee community in a unique context that lets professionals from the coffee industry easily reach their targets in the three day fair.
More than 8,000 guests from 75 countries will meet at the 2012 edition, which is sure to be the “place to be” for businessmen from this sector.

From April 17th to the 20th Wega will participate in the FHA fair in Singapore, the most important biennial expo in Asia dedicated to Food and Hospitality. The FHA will feature no less than 2600 exhibitions from 65 countries, covering a total surface of 87,000 square metres.

This strategic decision by Wega is motivated by our desire to consolidate our brand in an area that is continually evolving and expanding. In fact, a total of 40,000 sector representatives are expected during the days of the event. Wega will be located at HALL 5 - STAND 5E3-07.

Wega will be one of the stars at the 21st edition of the Hotelex Shanghai, the international trade fair for hotel appliances and restaurant supplies that will be held in Shanghai from April 9th to the 11th, 2012.

Hotelex is one of the most important expos in this sector, with more than 1000 brands attending from every corner of the globe.

Most of the initiatives in this edition will be dealing with the concept of sustainable development and energy savings, topics which mean a lot to Wega, whose Wega Concept opened the way for energy savings applied to coffee machines.
