Gulfood Dubai, from the 21st to the 24th of February 2010. 

Gulfood, the international exhibition for food, hotel and catering equipment is held in Dubai, the city which hosts the event, and acts as a catalyst and reference point for thousands of people, and multiple companies that operate on the Horeca market.

Starting from Dubai, and following a virtual spiral, we cross and encounter countries like Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and many others where their traditional hot drink is tea.

Fortunately for our business, the trend is developing towards our tradition, that of espresso coffee.

History tells us that the coffee plant, between the XV and the XVIII centuries, spread rapidly from Yemen, situated in the arabic peninsula, to the european countries and this is a further reason for which we propose and propagate the espresso coffee culture.

Wega was also present at Gulfood 2010, and we could not afford to miss this important date however fascinating and complex, where we met to exchange ideas and opinions, encompassing tastes and sensations often with contrasts, in a melting pot of different cultures.
