Wega is a founding member of the I.N.E.I institute, founded with the view to register and promote Italian espresso worldwide.

I.N.E.I obtained certification for espresso coffee with the trademark Espresso Italiano, in order to guarantee to consumers who choose to drink espresso at coffee bars bearing its mark, the guarantee of a strict technical specification, requiring:

• the use of a certified coffee blend;
• the use of certified equipment (machine and grinder-doser);
• and qualified personnel.
